2nd Hong Kong International Chromatic Harmonica Competition

Further to the success of the 1st Hong Kong International Chromatic Harmonica Competition held in 2023, government funding for the second competition has been secured, and the King's Harmonica Quintet is proud to host the 2nd competition on 30 Mar- 4 Apr 2027. A global recruitment drive with multiple qualification stages will begin this month.
A goal of the event is to arouse public interest in harmonica music. With a grand prize of almost £10,000 and a total prize pot of more than £28,000, they will most certainly get the attention of music professionals and academia.
The 3 Apr 2027, Saturday Evening Concert at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall will include invited artists:
