Hohner is proud to present a truly special release: the brand-new Steve Baker Signature Harp, created in close collaboration with legendary harmonica player Steve Baker.

Steve Baker has long been regarded as one of Europe’s finest harmonica players. Throughout his musical career, he has used and endorsed HOHNER harmonicas exclusively. With this signature model, we honour the lifetime work of an exceptional musician who has played a unique role in helping to shape the European harp scene.

Steve was closely involved in the development of this and other instruments. He initiated, designed and tested the upgrades to the Marine Band harmonica, which led to the Deluxe, Crossover and Thunderbird models. His unwavering commitment and vision brought a new lease of life to this legendary instrument, and he sees this development as the most significant achievement of his time with Hohner.

The Steve Baker Signature Model is available in Country / Major 7 and Natural Minor tunings, which are central to Steve’s instantly recognisable melodic style. They enable scales and chords that are unavailable in standard tuning, facilitating the playing of melodies in both major and minor modes.

Available in Country / Major 7 and Natural Minor – both central to Baker’s unmistakable sound. These tunings open musical possibilities that standard models can’t offer, from joyful and bright melodies to deeply emotional minor tones.
