Second Tuesday Club- 10th June 2025.

Come to our fabulous Folk and Acoustic Music Club Night at Whitchurch RSS Club on the SECOND TUESDAY of this month, 10th June 2025. You know where it is. Great night out, as usual the first performance of the night will be starting at 7.45 pm. Entry is £3. 

IMPORTANT NOTES!  

(1) As our wonderful sound crew Jo and Roger will be away enjoying a well-deserved summer break on that night, we will be totally acoustic. In place of bands playing on stage, we will arrange the seats around a performance area on the floor of the main hall. This will make for a lovely inclusive atmosphere and ensure you'll hear all our marvelous musicians very clearly. 

(2) As the very last song of the evening, as we welcome Tim and his chums back from a trip to Galway, I am inviting ALL OF YOU to join in with myself, John Steele and Dom Barry in a rousing COMMUNAL RENDITION of The Galway Shawl from wherever you are seated in the room. Play it, sing it - a nice bit of shared music is always a good thing. G major, lyrics and a very easy version of the chords are attached here as a PDF. I'm sure you'll all love it. See you there.
