It was a wonderful anniversary Festival – Mundharmonika-Live 2025

The harmonica community had been eagerly awaiting the 25th edition of the festival. And just like that – as soon as it had begun, it was already over. Time flew by, and the many workshop participants and visitors enjoyed fantastic concerts, inspiring workshops, and countless engaging conversations all about the harmonica.

All events – the workshops, the open day at SEYDEL, and the evening concerts with international artists – were very well attended and blessed with perfect early autumn weather. Even on the four shuttle buses jamming sessions went on with great enthusiasm.

Conclusion after six amazing days: There is hardly a more versatile and exciting festival for harmonica music and blues anywhere in Germany!
We would like to sincerely thank all our visitors – whether with or without a harmonica – as well as all instructors, bands, and the many volunteers who made this festival possible in the first place.

We are already looking forward to seeing you again in Klingenthal. The next festival will take place from September 15 to 20, 2026!

A WARM WELCOME to the newest member of the #Seydelfamily

As the oldest harmonica manufacturer in the world, we are proud to officially welcome the young Mighty Mike as our newest endorser. At just 17 years old, Michael has been performing on stage with the harmonica since he was seven, and also plays guitar, trumpet, and sings. He is already a rising star in Detroit’s jazz and blues scene.

He has performed with Hall-of-Famer Billy Davis, appeared at festivals such as the King Biscuit Festival, Detroit Black Music Awards, and numerous community events, and released several albums, including his latest, “First Day of School.” Michael has received multiple awards, including the Detroit Black Music Award, the NITA Icon Award, and recognition as a Youth Scholar at the Pinetop Perkins Master Classes.

We are thrilled to welcome this exceptional young talent to the #Seydelfamily and to celebrate the world of harmonica together!
