The New Bluesville NightHosted by Stephen ‘Foz’ Foster from Radio Caroline
Following in the footsteps of the original Bluesville Club of Ipswich, they announce the return of some of the finest American Blues and British R&B bands to the New Wolsey Theatre stage.
‘The Bluesville Club’ was originally set up in Suffolk, during the 1960s by Ron and Nanda Leslie, and was one of the most popular nights in the town for decades. It’s been too long since it closed, and they are thrilled to bring back a new version of this awesome night of live music and fun. Starring some of the best-known international touring blues and roots artists, audiences can expect to hear many classics played live from some of the greatest acts ever – including The Animals, Spencer Davis, Rod Stewart and Steampacket and The Yardbirds featuring Eric Clapton.
They are excited to welcome to the New Wolsey Theatre stage:West Weston’s Bluesonics, Joel Fisk & The Breakdown, and Bearfootsoul featuring Matt White and guest starring the New Wolsey’s very own Giles King.
